Conor McGregor is once again in the headlines for misbehavior outside of the cage and fans are sick of it.

The former two-division UFC champion’s latest embarrassing incident involves him reportedly striking someone and knocking them down at a nightclub in Ibiza. Footage of the incident immediately went viral, leaving much of the MMA community rolling their eyes at how far McGregor has fallen from his fighting prime when he was among the most famous athletes in the world.

“Absolute trainwreck,” “menace to society,” and “insecure sociopath” are just some of the words used by MMA Fighting commenters to describe McGregor’s current state. It’s hard to argue with those viewpoints given the 37-year-old’s many public embarrassments. Recently, McGregor was found liable in a civil suit for sexual assault for a 2019 incident in his native Dublin, and is currently facing another civil suit for sexual assault over an alleged incident in Miami in 2023.

His nightclub fracas isn’t even his first on-camera scuffle as he was memorably caught striking an elderly man at a Dublin pub in 2019.

McGregor, who once held UFC titles at 155 pounds and 145 pounds, has not fought since breaking his leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, and there are serious doubts as to whether fans will ever see him step foot in the octagon again.

Check out reactions from the MMA community below.

Awful person, menace to society, no redeeming qualities present.

Conor is a complete trainwreck at this point.

here we go again

What a joke. The guy being assaulted gets ejected while McGregor gets to stay and keep partying. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy sues McGregor and the Nightclub

Congrats on his first win in 5 years

To all the Macgregor fanboys. Why do you worship this POS? He's a mediocre fighter and not even funny anymore. He's just a dirtbag.

To be fair, I'm not sure what the other guy was saying, but…
What a fall from grace Conor has gone through. Holy hell.
I remember my ex back in Thailand around 2014 (we broke up in 2016) — he wanted to be like Conor so badly. He used to watch his videos, go out running, and was obsessed with the whole Mystic Mac persona, especially around the Aldo and Mendes fights.
Even I enjoyed it. I respected the way Conor came in and completely took over the game. But right after that Alvarez fight — or maybe more accurately, the Mayweather fight — it felt like he sold his soul to the devil.
I honestly have no idea how his wife is still standing by him and supporting him through all of this. My ass would be outta here real fast had I ever acted like that lmao.

When you look at Mcgregor legacy, it's amazing what he did at the beginning of his career and what he did for the sport but it's also equally amazing how he ruined his whole career and in a way, destroyed the sport he helped creating.

Criminals will be criminals.
But Dana won't ban him from the UFC forever.
That's a drastic measure reserved only for those who dare to speak about pay scales.

Just like the old man in the bar, the first shot didn't drop the guy.
Conor just doesn't have the one punch power anymore. Ya hate to see it

I need to meet this guy in a club somewhere some day and have someone film him knocking me out.. That payday might have me retiring early in life.

Such a disappointment.
I sometimes wonder how things would have played out if Conor didn't fight Floyd. Stayed motivated and defended his belt. The McGregor who was focused against Aldo and Alvarez was special to watch. So many great match ups we could have seen.

TheRisqueReaper
Clear pattern of behavior. Insecure sociopath.

These (more to come) videos, are closest thing to seeing Connor back in action.
No performance bonus acquired.
