Stamp Fairtex is no longer the ONE atomweight champion.

Fairtex was scheduled to compete at ONE 173 on Aug. 1 in Denver, but has been forced out of her title defense against Denice Zamboanga due to an “injury setback,” the promotion announced. Additionally, ONE officials revealed that Fairtex — who is rehabbing from a knee injury — is vacating her title after being out of action for so long. Therefore, Zamboanga, who was the interim atomweight champion, has been promoted to the undisputed titleholder.

After losing the event’s headliner and big title fight, ONE also announced that its return to Denver will no longer take place in August, but is now being moved to June 26, 2026.

“We are saddened to hear of the injury setback to Stamp and wish her nothing but the best in her road to recovery, ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong said in a press release. “After looking at multiple alternate headlining options that unfortunately did not come together, we have made the difficult decision to move our Denver event to June 26.

“When bringing the world’s largest martial arts organization to the U.S., we strive to deliver the very best product to our passionate American fan base and put on the most entertaining and memorable show possible. The U.S. remains a high-priority market for ONE and our global business, and we remain committed to maintaining a strong presence in the region with monthly ONE Fight Night events in U.S. primetime and future on-ground events.”

The 27-year-old Fairtex captured the vacant atomweight title with a third-round TKO win over Seo Hee Ham at ONE Fight Night 14 in March 2023.
