Mateusz Gamrot isn’t very happy with the lightweight Top 15.
Despite currently being ranked No. 7 in the UFC’s lightweight rankings, Gamrot has struggled to get fights against big names in the division recently, despite calling out multiple opponents. Perhaps the worst of this, for Gamrot, was when No. 1-ranked contender Arman Tsarukyan recently revealed he turned down a main event for the July card in Abu Dhabi, even though Gamrot has a win over Tsarukyan.
But apparently that’s not the only one.
On Monday, Gamrot blasted No. 13-ranked Benoit Saint Denis for allegedly turning down a short-notice fight with Gamrot this Saturday at UFC 315. Saint Denis was scheduled to face Joel Alvarez in the main card opener, but Alvarez was forced to withdraw due to a hand injury, and the UFC has yet to replace him. Gamrot apparently offered his service but was denied.
BSD turned down the fight next week, what’s wrong with you guys? Grow some balls, cowards!

“BSD turned down the fight next week, what’s wrong with you guys? Grow some balls, cowards!”
It’s not all bad news for Gamrot. “Gamer” is currently scheduled to face the unranked Ludovit Klein in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 107 later this month. Klein is unbeaten since moving back up to 155 pounds, with 6 wins and 1 majority draw.
