Andrea Lee will face Miranda Maverick at UFC 298.

MMA Fighting confirmed the women’s flyweight matchup on Friday after Maverick posted the fight on her Instagram account.

UFC 298 takes place on Feb. 17 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Lee has been out of action since losing a unanimous decision to Natalia Silva at UFC 292 in August. Currently the No. 14-ranked flyweight in the UFC’s rankings, Lee is has struggled to build momentum recently, losing three in a row. Her most recent victory was a TKO of Cynthia Calvillo in 2021.

Maverick has fared much better than Lee lately, winning three of her past four fights to put herself on the cusp of a ranking. The 26-year-old fighter most recently submitted Priscila Cachoeira in the third round at UFC 291.

UFC 298 is currently headlined by a featherweight title fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria.
