Dillon Danis will compete in a MMA bout in Misfits Boxing when he faces debutant Warren Spencer at the upcoming card in Manchester, England on Aug. 30, the promotion announced.
The Misfits MMA light heavyweight title will be on the line, although the match will be contested at 170 pounds.
Danis is 2-0 in MMA with a pair of first-round submissions under the Bellator banner, but hasn’t entered the cage since 2019. The jiu-jitsu ace had one Bellator match cancelled in 2020, and was recently paired up against Tony Ferguson on the now-defunct promotion GFL.
Danis entered the boxing ring once under the Misfits banner in 2023, losing in bizarre fashion during an exhibition match with Logan Paul. Two planned Misfits boxing matches with KSI never came to fruition.
Spencer will make his first walk to a MMA bout when he faces Danis. He has boxed twice inside the Misfits ring, winning a majority decision over Nicholai Perrett in his most recent appearance in late 2024, and then scored a first-round knockout over Muganzi Hakim in a pro boxing match in Dubai this past April.
The event will be headlined by Darren Till versus ex-UFC champion Luke Rockhold for the bridgerweight title in boxing, while Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson faces off influencer boxing star Salt Papi in an interim middleweight title bout.
