Professional Fighters League has once again cancelled an event in Paris, this time pulling the plug on the May 23 show in France. PFL announced the decision Thursday morning, but did not disclose the reason.
In a statement, PFL worded it as being “rescheduled” with tickets being refunded, but did not mention a new date. Back in October 2024, the promotion also said that a Bellator Paris show had to be “rescheduled for later dates”.
The Paris card was expected to feature the MMA debut of French national football team and Manchester United captain Patrice Evra, but the show was cancelled before a opponent was named.
PFL Paris was set to feature local lightweight Mansour Barnaoui versus Archie Colgan in the main event. The MMA promotion has yet to announce if the cancelled bouts, including the PFL Europe bantamweight bouts, will be relocated to other cards.
- Mansour Barnaoui vs. Archie Colgan
- Patrick Habirora vs. Nicolas Di Franco
- Taylor Lapilus vs. Ali Taleb
- Mahio Campanella vs. Matiss Zaharovs
- Patrice Evra vs. TBA
- Dean Garnett vs. Alexander Luster
- Anas Azizoun vs. Gustavo Oliveira
