In the main event, top contenders Ian Machado Garry and Carlos Prates have to hit the 171-pound limit for the non-title welterweight fight. Garry—currently No. 6 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings—won his first eight UFC fights before losing a decision to Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 310.
Prates is 4-0 in the UFC with all of his wins coming by way of knockout.
