UFC 315 has added a featherweight contest.
The promotion announced that Gavin Tucker returns to the octagon to face JeongYeong Lee at the May 10 pay-per-view card at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
Lee will get to compete around his originally scheduled timeframe as he was set to face Trevor Peek at UFC Des Moines. Peek was forced to withdraw after fracturing his leg. The 29-year-old makes his fourth octagon appearance, and looks to bounce back from his first loss in seven years — a knockout loss to Hyder Amil this past July at UFC Vegas 94.
Tucker steps in on less than a month’s notice to compete in his home country in his first bout in nearly two years. The 38-year-old makes just his third appearance in the past four years and looks to get back on track following back-to-back first-round stoppage losses to Diego Lopes and Dan Ige.
UFC 315 is headlined by a welterweight title fight between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena.
