We’re just over a week into April and Henry Cejudo has already had an eventful month.
Over the weekend, Cejudo claims to have helped apprehend a suspect who allegedly crashed a car into his neighbor’s yard and then assaulted his neighbor. And now Cejudo appears to be the victim of criminal behavior himself.
On Tuesday, Cejudo’s producer, Dylan Rush, posted a video to Instagram saying that the Olympic gold medalist and two-division UFC champion was asleep in Cejudo’s studio when a burglar broke in and stole Cejudo’s original UFC title.

“Someone broke into Henry’s studio last night at 4:45 a.m. and stole his first UFC belt while I was sleeping on the couch. I woke up and watched the guy stand there for two minutes thinking it was Henry [because] it was dark. Then I heard a crash (the shelf fell) and the dude ran out.”
Cejudo won his first UFC title when he defeated Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight belt in their rematch at UFC 227. Cejudo went on to claim the bantamweight belt against Marlon Moraes at UFC 238. He briefly retired from MMA in 2020, but returned to the UFC in 2023, where he has lost all three bouts since his comeback, most recently dropping a technical decision to Song Yadong at UFC Seattle in February.
