Dan Hooker is on the mend, and he’s taking everyone along for the ride — even for the disgusting details.
Hooker was slated to face Justin Gaethje this Saturday in the co-main event of UFC 313 but was forced to withdraw from the bout following a hand injury. “Hangman” recently revealed on Instagram he was going into surgery to repair the damage.
While it was nice for Hooker to share that update with fans, those who dove deeper into his Instagram stories saw an absolutely gruesome aftermath photo following his surgery.

Hooker put himself in tremendous position in the UFC’s lightweight division after winning three straight bouts against Claudio Puelles at UFC 281 in November 2022, a thrilling decision win against Jalin Turner at UFC 290 in July 2023, and, most recently, a Fight of the Night bonus winning split decision over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 304 this past July.
