Alonzo Menifield got the win at UFC Seattle, but he paid a major price.
Menifield opened up the main card of Saturday’s Fight Night event against newcomer Julius Walker, where he earned a split decision victory to snap a two-fight losing streak.
Following the bout, UFC CEO Dana White shared a photo of a foot injury Menifield suffered at some point in the matchup, and it’s absolutely disgusting.

Menifield went unbeaten over five fights in 2022 and 2023, which included three stoppage wins over the likes of Jimmy Crute and Misha Cirkunov. Things changed quickly for “Atomic” as he a pair of knockout losses to Carlos Ulberg and Azamat Murzakanov over a winless 2024. Menifield returned to his roots with Fortis MMA for this camp, and it appears to have paid off.
Walker suffered his first career loss after winning his first six pro bouts. It wasn’t all bad news for him and Menifield though, as they both earned $50,000 bonuses for a surprising Fight of the Night win.
