Pillow Fight Championship, make way for your future star Alex Pereira.
The UFC light heavyweight champion celebrated Christmas with his sons and friends in Danbury, Conn., this week and had some fun “competing” against his sons in pillow fights. As expected, the Brazilian knockout artist — who nearly punched his sons during a prank back in 2023 — dropped everyone.

On a more serious now, “Poatan” is currently waiting for the UFC to define his future inside the octagon.
The former GLORY two division champion defended his UFC title three times in 2024, finishing Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree, and was expected to face Magomed Ankalaev next in 2025.
“Poatan”, however, posted earlier this month that Ankalaev wouldn’t be next in line, which led to an immediate response from the Russian.
It won’t be Ankalaev !

Ankalaev hasn’t lost in 13 straight UFC fights, including knockouts over Johnny Walker, Anthony Smith and Ion Cutelaba, but went to a lackluster split draw when facing Jan Błachowicz for the vacant belt in December 2022. Ankalaev won a decision over Aleksandar Rakic in his most recent octagon appearance.
