Kimbo Slice Jr. is taking on a big name in the influencer world.
MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed with sources that Slice—real name Kevin Ferguson Jr., the son of MMA legend Kimbo Slice—is scheduled to fight popular influencer Bryce Hall at BKFC KnuckleMania 5, which is set to take place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Jan. 25.
The matchup was first reported by TMZ.
This won’t be Slice’s first foray into the influencer fighting sphere. In April 2023, Slice—also occasionally billed as “Baby Slice”—fought OJ Rosé in a four-round boxing bout at an MF & DAZN X Series boxing event in New Orleans. Rosé defeated slice via second-round knockout.
Prior to transitioning to boxing, Slice competed seven times for Bellator, compiling a 3-3 record in the promotion with one no-contest. He has not won a fight since a submission of Devon Brock in April 2018, a slump that includes a win at Bellator 232 that was overturned due to Slice’s finishing strikes being deemed illegal.
Hall has dabbled in combat sports, fighting twice since 2021. He lost by TKO to fellow influencer Austin McBroom in a 2021 exhibition boxing bout, then defeated Gee Perez via injury at BKFC 48 in August 2023.
