
Chael Sonnen and Daniel Cormier have 16 fighters to choose from for their teams on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The promotion revealed the list of welterweight and flyweight hopefuls competing for UFC contracts on the 33rd season of the reality show. Sonnen and Cormier will coach the teams this season, which debuts on ESPN2 and ESPN+ on May 27.
The flyweight roster includes Joseph Morales as he seeks a second chance with the UFC. In his first run, Morales went 1-2 in the octagon, which includes a second-round stoppage loss to Deiveson Figueiredo. Past Contender Series competitor Roybert Echeverria also joins the roster looking for redemption and a contract.
The welterweight division features Matt Dixon, who competed on the 2020 season of the Contender Series before taking a three-year break from the sport after suffering his first and only loss on the show.
