LFA strawweight Kendra McIntyre has entered the Knockout of the Year conversation.
At Friday night’s LFA 182 event in Sioux Falls, S.D., McIntyre brutally knocked out Katarina Legorreta with an absolutely picture-perfect head kick in the third round, improving her record to 3-1 as a pro.

McIntyre returned to the win column with her first stoppage win as a professional fighter. Prior to Friday’s event, the 28-year-old suffered a disqualification loss at January’s LFA 174 card due to an illegal kick to a grounded opponent, which is the only blemish on her record after earning a pair of decision wins to start her career, including her debut for Invicta FC.
Legoretta took her first loss as a professional mixed martial artist. She opened her career with a stoppage win, as well as a decision victory for Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat promotion.
